These beautiful copper jugs from Nepal are very special. Due to the detailed pattern that is chiseled into the neck and top of the jug, every piece is unique. Some of them have a lid, others are open at the top. Originally they are used for catching snow to store water (some villages are located far away from rivers). Also, they are often given as dowry. The more decorative details are carved into the jars, the more wealthy the family. We recommend to stage them in your interior as a piece of art or to decorate them with a nice branch for a sober effect.
